Capitalware Inc. would like to announce a licensing change for MQ Channel Auto Creation Manager (MQCACM) and MQ Channel Auto Creation Manager for z/OS (z/MQCACM). MQCACM and z/MQCACM are now ‘licensed as free’ software. i.e. Same as how IBM licenses MQ Client software.
MQCACM and z/MQCACM are an MQ Channel Auto-Definition (MQ CHAD) exits that allows a company to control and restrict incoming connection requests to auto-create a channel. MQCACM (or z/MQCACM) is invoked when a request is received to start an undefined Receiver, Server-Connection, Cluster-Receiver or Cluster-Sender channel. MQCACM can modify or clear the supplied default channel definition values for an instance of the channel, so that there is no exit incompatibility (cross-platform or otherwise).
Both MQCACM and z/MQCACM are licensed as a free product. They are free to use but support is not included. A support license may be purchased.
