MQ Visual Edit and WMQ v7 local queue manager

The current and previous releases of MQ Visual Edit are designed to work with any version of an WMQ remote queue manager (i.e. connecting in ‘client mode’).

If the user has WMQ v6 server installed on their PC, MQ Visual Edit can connect in either ‘bindings mode’ or ‘client mode’ to the local queue manager.

If the user has WMQ v7 server installed on their PC, MQ Visual Edit can only connect in ‘client mode’ to the local queue manager. If the user prefers to connect to the WMQ v7 local queue manager in ‘bindings mode’ then they need a special build of MQ Visual Edit.

If any registered user of MQ Visual Edit would like a release of MQ Visual Edit that connects in bindings mode to an WMQ v7 local queue manager then send an email to support@capitalware.com to request it.
